Imran (MBA, BA Accounting/Financial Management) is a Chartered Accountant and business development specialist who can provide you with practical business advice.

He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand and holds a Certificate of Public Practice. Imran is also a Chartered Accountant of Fiji and a Certified Practicing Accountant of Australia.

Imran started his career with Deloittes, where he was a senior Accountant/Auditor and later joined a medium-sized accounting practice where he was a Partner/Director for seven years.

Owning and managing two other businesses, Imran’s commercial experience has allowed him to act for a number of clients as their financial controller and advisor.

He is a Certified MYOB Accounting Software Consultant with extensive knowledge of a wide range of other accounting software packages and is proficient in the use of most in-house accounting software packages. Imran can make recommendations on the solution most suitable for your business.

Nazeema Kamal - Associate

Nazeema joined Accountants First from a management background in corporate services. She has wide experience in accounting, tax planning and business structure. Nazeema is responsible for general practice management including business development, marketing, client services, practice accounts, property management, human resource management, training, systems and process development and project management.

Patricia (BCom Honours- Acctg) joined Accountants First after working in many accounting practices. Patricia's specialty is Financial Accounting Taxation so if there’s a problem within your accounting systems Patricia will provide the solution. She also has vast experience in Budgeting and Cashflow Management, Auditing and Taxation Planning.

Alastair McEwen - Senior Client Services Manager

Alastair joined Accountants First, in 2010 as a Senior Accountant. Alastair is a Chartered Accountant, and holds a certificate of public practice. He specialises in advising small to medium sized business and the interpretation of tax laws. Alastair lends an analytical tax point of view to our business advisory service. 

Mohammed Mazhar - Client Services Manager

Mohammed Mazhar (NZ Diploma in Business and Diploma in Accounting) is a specialist in PAYE and GST compliance. He advises a number of key clients, with accounting and taxation obligations.
